Hi, I have also recently found a large lump and have been referred to the breast clinic - I have an appointment on Monday and feel very anxious. 

Did you manage to see the GP today? How did you get on?

I spoke to the GP today and she advised to wait just until the bruising has gone down as I may well have damaged it myself from prodding so much and with my history doesn't want to put me through the wait of referral etc if theres no need. I will be booking in a weeks time just gotta stop myself from faffing in the meantime and try and keep my mind off of it.

That sounds positive - she couldn't find a lump and din't need to refer you which is positive news. I hope you can start to put your mind at ease now - how do you feel?

That was over the phone as they didn't have any face to face appointments, but what she said did make sense. I've had a busy day but now have time to myself and it's all I can think about. 

Hopefully, the joy of being a woman eh! X 

If you are at all worried, just pop and see the GP - just to put your mind at rest. You dont want to just be worrying about it xx

I think I will try again for an appointment tomorrow. Dont want to waste anymore time going over scenarios in my head. 

I went to GP today and she did a thorough examination and is confident that what i can feel is ligament and tissue she couldn't feel a lump and was not concerned. So time to unwind. 

Update when you have had your appt x
