I visited my Dr today with concerns about a few bowel issues I've been having. I'm 41 and have bloating, gas, blood, mucous, stomach tenderness and a change in bowel movements and habits. I also have pain in my right hip and what feels like sciatic pain in my right side of my body. I'm absolutely exhausted all the time too (I do have 2 year old twins though)

I've always thought I had IBS that seems to come and go over the years, around 6 years ago I had and MRI after being taken to A&E for a back problem and the A&E Dr told me I didn't hAve IBS but needed to see my Dr. I thought no more about it as I didn't have any issues at the time now I'm thinking did he see polyps on my bowel? 

My Dr wants to see what my bloods say to see of I need to be seen urgently or in due course. I'm now very worried I've ignored signs of something sinister for years.

Has anyone experienced something like this ??
