New to Cancer chat 'scared'

Hello

I am new to this forum. I have been reading the posts and found I feel somehow no longer alone.  I have not been diagnosed with cancer. I will be undergoing tests in due course. In the meantime, I am living in fear and finding the fear debilitating. I hope I can be part of the chat in this context as I don't know where to get further support having been to the GP and tried to explain to some close friends who find it hard to understand the level and all encompassing fear I feel. I am frigthened of any diagnosis and the tests which is compounding my fear,  I hope my first post is okay and in the right place.

    Hi billygoat,

    yes, it was a pretty big deal, but I'm glad I did it, the next big deal is a "posh" lunch in cardiff....eek!

    Pleased you enjoyed your lunch.  That must have been a giant step forward for you. Keeping bust at work must help. I have Chloe staying with me at the moment so she helps take my mind off things. I don't know how I will be when she goes home????

    Glad to know you are okay. Will you wear a posh frock for your do in Cardiff? 

    I go back to work after the bank holiday so trying to get my head around it.

    Oh yes indeed....posh frock alert! Shame I can't do anything with my hair though....but at at least I do have a bit...

    I understand you are busy so no need to reply until you have five minutes.  I bet you will look and feel stunning in your posh frock.

    I need to get back to work to keep me occupied, although there is always a lot to do at home. My appointment has come through for my endoscopy....ahhhh...terrified! This is all I can think about at the moment. Anyway, there is no point me going on about it. I know you will understand my terror. 

    I hope you are feeling well in yourself and if you haven't already got your frock...get looking and enjoy shopping.  I wonder what colour you will go for?

    Hi polly. Bren not very good today put her back in bed about three o'clock then back and forth like a yoyo luckily she's sleeping again now so a bit of piece., this is to [@Molly71053]‍ as well it saves writing it all twice, hope your both feeling OK today, (don't you think that was crafty).      William I,want to say Arnold but there is an N at the begining . My uncle was called William he died in the army age 19 years old my Grandma wanted his body sent home so she could bury him but they wouldn't they buried him in Germany he had only been there for  4 months .He wrote home to tell grandma an grandad that he was in the pink of condition but was doing 14 days detention for disobeying an order. They said he died from a fractured scull. It was all in the newspaper I have the newspaper cutting here . My brother William went to Germany last year to put flowers on the grave as nobody had ever been. How sad is that . Williams a great name. M. [@Billygoat]‍
