my appointment came through 2 weeks after I saw my doctor ( 2 weeks is with in the urgent referral time) I got a letter....

Its horrible waiting for appointments and results, but there's a protocol and guidelines, try and keep busy in the meantime....I'm sorry to hear your mum has bc, how is she doing? My mum had bc too.....

I'm in a similar position to you.

I saw the nurse practitioner last Wednesday and my appt at the clinic is a week tomorrow, so just under 2 weeks. I think the standard for an urgent referral is to be seen within 2 weeks. I was told they would ring me to arrange an appointment, but actually I just got a letter in the post.

It came through. I saw my GP on the Friday and had the call on the Tuesday. Appointment is for 20th. 

My Mum’s breast cancer has spread to her spine sadly. My grandmother also has breast clinic on Monday due to suspected BC. 

Oh boy! Such a strong family history....have you been tested for the braca gene?
