Pain in right testicle

Hi, 

I am getting pains in my right testicle. The pain is coming and going and is really irritating. I have slide had an hernia operation in my groin a couple of motnhs back and this testicle pain has commenced after the operation. My right testicle is also bigger than the left one so I would like to know what is happening and what I should do.

    Hi Rehman1234. Welcome to the forum.

    I am not a doctor and I'm not qualified to give medical advice. 

    You may have an infection in your testicle and need antibiotics. This isn't necessarily an STD - these things can just happen to any man at any time. Or the pain may be directly related to the hernia operation, given that it started soon after. 

    It is normal for one testicle to be larger than the other, so I don't think you need to worry about this.

    I suggest that you need to see your GP to get checked out. Don't freak out if your GP refers you for an ultrasound scan - that is a very common part in identifying testicular problems.
