I started having constant diarrhoea about september time. I didnt think much of it as a lot was going on with my partner having a bad motorbike accident and then he had kidney cancer. Anyway, went to GP when I started noticing blood.... they checked for piles etc. More weeks of me pestering and they referred me for a colonoscopy. They changed their minds and did a flexible sigmoidoscopy. All clear. Biopsies clear. They took a stool sample which TMI ALERT was just blood and mucus but the doctor called today and said it's normal. Bloods are normal. I'm a bigger girl but have lost a couple stone in the last couple months. I sleep at least 16 hours a day and I feel so washed out. I struggle to eat as I have no appetite any more. Now the frequency of my visits to the loo are more and there's blood most times. I have told my GP who has given me Colpermin♀️
My question after that is.... can I safely assume it's nothing sinister? Is this just my lot in life now? I'm so frustrated and so sick of being well, sick.
