no, there's no significance in where the lump is, and don't forget 8/9 out of 10 lumps are innocent.....it's the waiting for results that's most frustrating....fingers crossed for you both x

Oh bless you, I do totally understand what you're going through, the waiting really screws with the head, the only bit of advice I can give you is to stay away from google....he will drive you insane with worry!!

Thank you for your kind response, I thought that being open and investigative might help but friends and families responses seem to always be, well it will be fine, so don’t worry. The reality is that going onto the internet seems to produce more alarms bells.

Yes, it is a torrid time, simply horrible.

Of course I will let you know Jenny’s results. 

If it’s any consolation they usually have to biopsy most lumps I was told today. It doesn’t mean it’s cancer.

Hello there, well we went for the results yesterday after an awful week of worry.

The biopsy showed normal tissue but didn’t explain the lump found by the mammogram and ultrasound.

Now Jenny has to have another ultrasound and possibly another biopsy next Wednesday and a wait until the 19 July for the results.

The waiting is awful for us both but for some reason we feel less worried?

Roll on the 19 July.

well.....that sounds kind of promising doesn't it? You would think cancer cells would show up if it was malignant? I know the time drags doesn't it...when waiting for results....I'm keeping everything crossed for you both.....yes indeed....19th July...hurry up!! X
