best piece of advise I can give younid keep off dr google .inwas one of unlucky ones at least 90% if not more of urgent referrals to ent turn out to be nothing .i also had a lump in my neck but no other symptoms one year  ago today as it happens mine turned out to be tonsil cancer but my oncologist said to me when first meeting him please keep offvdr google as like he says anyone can put anything online without any evidence.ifvthe worst happens at diagnosis then onky use cancer U.K. or Macmillan keep off anything else. Fornrhe next week try  and put the c word out if your head why worry about something you can’t contribute to .when you’ve got diagnosis come back on. You don’t say how old you are but I was told over 40 withnexplained neck lump is the fast track appointment way otherwise u could be waiting weeks.
