David you really should go and see a doctor . And why would anyone need know that you are going to an appointment . My honest opinion I would tell a parent or maybe an auntie and share your worries. A doctor will take you very seriously and just give you a quick once over . You could also ask to see a male doctor I’m sure . Make sure you go don’t leave it .  Ginny x

David I just checked . Once you turn sixteen it is your legal right to go to the doctors without parental guidance. So make that appointment today . Making an appointment can be tricky you may have to wait for one so I would say it’s an emergency & you would like to be seen ASAP . Keep in touch Ginny

I hope so too. It's always better to be safe than sorry. I agree that it's a pity that he cannot confide in his parents, but at least he is old enough to get this investigated himself. It is coming at one of the worst times for him, with his exams looming.

We are showing interest because we know how quickly it can advance. If this does prove to be cancerous, then the sooner it is seen, the better the outcome should be. You cannot afford to ignore a lump like this, even though this is a busy time for you.
