i had a ca125 blood test plus the usual fbc test on Wednesday. I forgot to ask how long it takes to get the results. Does anyone know how long it takes?
These routine tests are typically handled in bulk using high capacity machines so they're pretty quick. In my area, they turn around within a week - often in a few days. I suggest you phone the receptionist after 7 days.

what symptoms did you have, if you don’t mind me asking? How did you get on with your internal examination, I’ve got a tender spot which feels like it’s around my left ovarie and it’s not all the time and not a pain just like a slight ache. Felt tender during examination but she didn’t feel anything in-toward.. but it really hurts when I’m on my period and have a dull ache there when I’m ovulating..period pain is really bad, periods have gone from being like clock work to being 35-21 day cycles (I am 32 and not on any contraception so could be my body just changing) .. and I get bloated most days but do have IBS/constipation etc.

hi Thankyou i had extreme bloating and hardness of my abdomen, also passing urine more however I am menopause age , like you the exam was tender but they didn’t feel anything. I have bad Ibs and Am on the mirena coil for very heavy painful periods. I haven’t had any more advise from gp. Try not to worry I looked into it too much and was convinced, fingers crossed your ok
