Hi, I have found 3 lumps in the left side of my body & all within the lymphatic system/ breast tissue. I found one in my neck (just under my chin half way between my ear & front of jaw) around November 2018 but was unwell so put it down to general swelling. It hasnt gone down since then but thought nothing of it as it doesn't hurt & moves slightly, until Sunday just gone when I found a quite large lump in my breast. Again its hard & doesn't move much at all, I then also found a hard & lumpy lump closer to my armpit. I made an apt with my GP for Wednesday (yesterday) and she has referred me for tests at the Hospital ( breast clinic i believe) She said my Left breast & armpit tissue are vastly different to my right side. She is also concerned with the lump under my chin. I am only 23 and have a young child so am freaking myself out more than I probably should. So what can I expect from my apt at the clinic?
The lumps have been found alongside other changes to my breast that have been spotted over the last month/ 6 weeks. I now have a fold in nipple at the top which makes it point upwards, a swelling where the lump is situated & this goes right to my nipple. I also have noticed what I can only describe as a letdown pain you get when breastfeeding (my child finished breastfeeding over a year ago) and also nipple discharge that is very close to the look of early colostrum. The GP asked if I am sweaty/ get chills which I am always cold but recently I am ALWAYS cold like chilled to the bone throughout the day, this is coupled with cold but sweaty palms (something that is very new to me) but once i get into bed for the night im so hot all night.
I did suffer with secondary infections of the Lymph nodes as a child (called mesentric adinitis) almost every time I had a throat infection. So was wondering if this would increase my chances of anything sinister?
Sorry for such a long essay, I don't really have anyone to talk to that can help ease my nerves.
Thanks for reading :)
