i hurt my ankle a couple of month ago , hurts on the top of foot where leg meets foot , but now i have a soft lumpon the inner side of leg just above ankle , worried its cancer

Most lumps turn out to be completely harmless. However, since this is worrying you, you should see your GP. Your GP won't think you're a time-waster. The GP may be able to identify it immediately, or may refer you for an ultrasound or other scan. Don't panic if you do get referred - as I said before, most lumps turn out to be completely harmless.
