Hopefully someone with similar experience will come on and be able to help.  I just want to say the fact that it's presented on both sides at the same time makes it unlikely to be due to cancer, but not impossible.  Have you made a GP appointment yet?  Always get these things checked out, can't be too careful.

Please keep us in the loop, here's hoping it isn't anything serious.
