Breast dimple.

Hello, it’s my first time in the forum and I just wondered if anyone could give me some friendly advice.

Im awaiting an appointment to been seen about a dimple I found on my right breast, it was quite prominent and had been there for just over a week, along side with some aching pains, and a slight bruised mark. After seeing my GP she put me onto the two week referral system. My appointment is on Friday and now the dimple, the pain and the bruise have all gone!

I have searched the site and forums for similar things and haven’t been able to find anything and I just wondered if this is somthing that had happen to other women? Or it is it worth cancelling the appointment as I feel I have nothing to show now!?

  • Hi, defo keep your appointment..for peace of mind. Good luck and let us know what happens? Xx

  • Hi - Keep the appointment. I found a dimple in my right breast last July and went to the doctors and was referred under the 2 week rule - I spent that 2 weeks hitching my bra up and looking at my breast at every oportunity i could - sometimes I'd look at it and think it's gone - then the next time I looked it was there again.

I was like you thinking I might be wasting peoples time but glad I did go as mine was cancer but found really early so its all been treated and I'm well on the road to recovery.

Your's hopefully will all be fine, I think the stats are only 1 in 10 referals turn out to be suspicious. So still go and get it checked out - for your own peace of mind if not for anything else.

Let us know how you get on - Good Luck.
