Hi!! Literally just joined to reply to you as im currently going through very similar and am really struggling to deal with it! Like you i have a history of breast lumps, and in the past have been reffered to the breast clinic for tests to be told i have fibroadenomas. I am 27 by the way and also have two boys, just turned one and my eldest is five in feb! I noticed a burning/achey feeling in right armpit in around September 2018, and ignored it for a while as just thought it was an ingrown hair etc etc, but the pain never went away and here we are in january and noticed a couple of breast lumps, went to docs and have been reffered to breast clinic for appt on monday the 21st. I am so so worried about having breast cancer, i feel physically sick thinking about it and when i look at my sweet little boys all i want to do is cry as I don’t want to get ill and ever ever leave them!! So just wanted to say you’re not alone and i truly hope we are both ok, best of luck at your appointment sweet heart, im struggling to cope with the worry of it all so can really relate to you x 

Wow r lifes sound very similar my little boy turns one on thursday and my eldest 5 in april ive broke down so many times looking at my youngest carnt for my 4 year old he will worry , best of luck with your appointment lets pray were both ok . So hard not to think thr worst n diagnose your self with all sorts isnt it . X

Hi Jade,

You still have time to grab a couple of hours. You must be absolutely exhausted by now.

Nothing much will happen tomorrow. You are likely to get tests and then have to wait another week or so before your results come back. All the tests are straightforward and there is no great pain involved.

You really do need your sleep to look after your young family.

I sincerely hope that there is still nothing untoward.

this weekend i have been surprisingly calm, a complete change from my break downs in the week.

Im hoping we get a good insight into what is lurking in there, hopefully cysts or something xx

Morning dotty ive had a ok ish weekend had a mega panic saterday after i got my letter so took my 4 year old to the cinema , it didnt leave my mind at all yday n ive diffrent things running round my head , best of luck please let us no how u get on mine isnt till 14.55 x

I have to my sister was lucky when ahe went a few years back she just got examined and sent on her way got told it was a fatty lump lucky thing , x

So i had my clinic appointment 

The doctor did a through examination & said both of my breasts have a lot of very dense breast tissue & she wasnt concerned about them at all but is sending me for mammogram & ultrasound (within a couple of weeks) this is just to double check but is certain theres nothing untoward & that i have fibroadenomas

She is also sure i am premenopausal (im only 38) which would explain a lot about the symptoms ive had the past few months, to say im relieved is an understatement, i went straight round to tell mum & dad who are delighted  

At the pub now having lunch with hubby then its back home for housework & washing. 

Jade i sincerely hope you also get good results, i will be thinking about you xx

I shall certainly be doing regular checks from now on & booking an appointment for my overdue smear test.

Jade as beachbabe said we dont realise how strong we are. I was not one bit emotional in the hospital, i did have the sick in the stomach feeling but i went in with the mindset of whatever the outcome is i physically cannot change it, If it was bad then i would do whatever possible to fight it as i was determined not to break my little mans heart.

Yes book that smear test. One thing these things do is make you look at life differently and makes you look after yourself more!!! X 

Hey ive just got bk they gave me a good check and have put it down to hormones she said they was nothing to worry about she couldnt feel anything untwards at all x
