hi guys! I am 25 and I found a breast lump that feels firm and round under my left breast. I didn’t have any pain prior to feeling the lump but to press down on it it feels a little tender! Went to the doctors and we decided there to go private to fast track getting an ultrasound. The consultant said because of my age it was most likely a fibrodenoma (however you spell it) during the ultrasound it felt tender when they’re were going over the lump and then he had a look around my upper breast and armpit area which randomly started feeling tender in last few days after being poked and prodded! He said he had found another lump wasn’t sure if this was my lymph node or a lump near this. So this concerned me and was booked in the next day for biopsies on both. The day of the biopsies they seemed to refer to the second new lump as my lymph node only so perhaps a swelling of this lymph node. Which they said they would take three samples of each area for biopsy! Which didn’t hurt ladies I promise!
now it is simply a waiting game obviously I am very worried as they said they’re concerned. I am so young and there isn’t really any family history of breast cancer, and it all seems very bizzare that after the lump I went In for was touched I started getting pain around the upper breast/armpit area a few days later and prior to this had no discomfort. I must add that they can not feel a lump in my lymph nodes was only detected on the scan. Both areas are now very tender to touch. I am hoping for a positive outcome but prepared for the worst at this stage I was wondering if anyone had any similar stories to this or could shed some light on this. Thank you in advance
