There is every chance it's just a case of your results are in now and they want to let you know the results.  Given the appointment change it's easy to assume this means they have found something, so it's important to remember that biopsies can diagnosis more than just cancer.

In terms of how worried you should be, really not at all, the worry isn't going to change anything but it will ruin your days until Friday.

Best wishes for next Friday, hopefully whatever it is they've maybe found will help get you appropriate treatment and hopefully it won't be cancer.

I'm in similar situation I had an excision biopsy on the 12 November was told it all looks benign. They said post op appt will be in 6 weeks and now today i get a letter to ask me to come in next week. It's worrying but I guess it's just a waiting game. I hope all goes well for you.
