Lump on vein by Testicle

hi there ,

i have had for around a year and a half a very very small lump the size of about a quarter of a pea  not on my Testicle but on the vein near the Testicle. It can move but feels almost attached by a string . No pain , no swelling of testicles or other Symptoms just worried it could be cancerous . I believe it is called the eperdermis ? But not 100 percent sure if they should last for over a year .

Any answers would be hugely appreciated

Thanks

  • @Hg87 I was looking online myself as I've noticed a lump in this area 3 weeks back, its painless unless I gently squeeze it, then it seems to flare up from a pea size to a half grape size, it disappeared after 5 days, then seems to have come back the last 2 days, not sure if its exercise related but it is worrying! Have you had any word back or made out what it may be ?

  • My hubby discovered 'the pea' last week... so I looked up what I felt it was most like...

a hard pea attached to a 'string' coming from top side of his right testicle. You can get hold of it between thumb & finger and move it about but it's definitely attached by the 'string'

it doesn't hurt him unless he try's to squeeze it. He's clearly been touching it as today I've found it feels slightly bigger... he spoke with the doctor (covid = only phone call appointments) and is due an ultrasound X-ray in two days time. As we know where it is, they'll definitely get it on the scan... so I'll try & report back, here.. when we know anything further.
on line it says it's a very common 'cyst' (small fluid filled pea sized 'sac' attached to a vein at top of testicle and that they are benign) so we'll see what's what....

  • Hi, I was just wondering if your husband got results back? My son has got this too and is due for an x ray tomorrow.
