I had a general anaesthetic as I had other stuff done too. Only just feeling back to normal and that’s a week later. On top of the physical pain there’s the waiting for results!!!

Thank you daisydoo it really wasn’t nice and I can tolerate quite abit of pain have had 3 children and 1 was a ceaseran but that was just horrendous.x

that's so wrong Helen, mine was also to painful but they did stop immediately and were really good, had to have it done under GA a week later, suppose it is really a post code lottery depending on were you live  but no way after all we go through should it be that painful, 

the 2 week wait for the results seemed to drag on forever with me, such a relief to find out in the end (even though the results were not good) I just hated the not knowing.

anyway Helen good luck with the results really hope they are clear 

ps and tell you other half to imagine him having a vasectomy without anaesthetic 

dont get me wrong they were lovely nurses and very supportive they took the first sample and she didnt think she had enough so she did ask me if they could take another one and i just said yes ok, but they also said that if they didnt get what they needed they would have to give me general anesthetic if results come back not so good so will have to wait and see what happens i hate waiting!!!!!!!

Yes the waiting is very stressful!

hi soobyso mine was also really painful im waiting on results im just hoping they had enough sample otherwise it means having it done again under  ga  .x

I had a uterine biopsy on Tuesday, it was really painful and I think I’m still in shock from it. Pain in lower back seems worse 4 days later. Consultant seem confident it was a polyp but was concerned the sample she took wasn’t what she expected, said it was breaking up - expected it to be more solid. Now I have to wait nearly 3 weeks for results. Going to be a long 3 weeks.
