Hi what was the outcome of this ? It's been a while since you posted I see. I'm having the same symptoms and am struggling for answers .

I would also like to know the outcome. I'm constantly losing breath, pain in my back, below shoulder blade next to spine. I've also suffered with stomach pain like pretty much everyone else on here, in fact exactly the same as most, but I've now just started with a metallic taste in my mouth. I've had a stool test and it was negative, but this isn't normal!! It's not normal to feel like this at all! It's near impossible to get a hold of the doctor and have been told to call the surgery at 8am every morning and basically if your the first person to answer, then you'll get an appointment, if not, then you'll just have to wait until one day your the first person to call!! 

Did this eventually clear up or did you find a solition as to what was going on ?

ive literally had all your symptoms apart from

the lactose one ( how did they diagnose that ). Mines been going on for 16 months now , I've had colonoscopy, endoscopy, bloods, stool samples, scans the lot and all has came back normal , I've got a barium swallow booked in which will be another 2 months away . Stressing over it all seems to make it worse it seems. Mine is always worse when I eat so I sometimes don't eat for a whole day if I have plans that eve just coz I don't want to be embarrassed with the loud noises. 
 

Hi nope I'm still having the same symptoms of tummy churning, gurgling , popping noises etc every day after I've eaten any kind of food . Had pretty much every test possible but all came back normal

Do you have any other symptoms ? Mine seems to be worse when lying down and after food. Is this the same for you ? 

Basicaly I've tried avoiding dairy, lactose, gluten etc etc but nothing made any difference . After I eat any food the noises start and it's not just a normal tummy rumbling noise which everyone gets ( docs always say to me it's normal we all get this ) it's literaly constant for hours , when I'm walking about I don't notice it as much , but if I sit or lay down it begins and anyone in the room can hear it , so so embaresing . 

This sounds very similar to mine. Would you say sometimes its like gas bubbles popping and sometimes its a grumbling sound ?? Im awaiting results of a ct scan have you had one of them ? I wouldnt say it was painful just feels very uncomfortable and distracts me from whatever im doing. Waking up in the morning it doesnt seem to be as bad but as soon as i eat something it starts is this the same for you ? 

Sounds the same yes, it never hurts at all it's just the noises which are annoying . I've can a colonoscopy, endoscopy, bloods,  stool samples, I think I've had a ct scan too ( can't actualy remember as had so much lol ). All of them have been normal . Yeh I'm the mornings it's fine , it's like I can't digest food properly I think. 

I really appreciate you talking about this as ive found it very hard to connect with anyone. Sorry for all the questions, do you have any other symptoms or have done ? Im guessing the doctors have said thats its IBS ? Of are you still without a diagnosis and was just wondering whats your plans are moving forward ? 

It's fine it's good to talk about it . My toilet habits sometimes change but I think that's down to me worrying about what the worst case could be , the docs have said it's ibs, then they've said it's anxiety ( easy answer ) or just general noisy bowells , they have no idea tbh. I'm waiting on a barium swallow test and then a small bowell scan but I can't see these being done for at least another 6 months . NHS is awful these days tbf . 

Yeah im exactly the same, have you ever had the odd stomach pain after eating its not common for me but has happened once or twice in last six months.I am really worried about the cameras as i think they are next for me how did you find these procedures (be honest lol). I do suffer from really aniexty and this is causing me to be very stressed

The odd tummy pain but I put that down to stesssing over it all. Colonoscopy is totally fine doesn't hurt at all, endoscopy is fine if u have sedation which I didn't so I made a big mistake there lol

Okay thank you, so in the 16 months it has never gone away once ? Did you not have both cameras on the same day or did you have to do them on seperate occasions. One last question then ill leave you alone lol has the issue progressed at all or been the same the whole time ? Once again thanks for responding
