Hi, 

I'm 43 years old & being fast tracked for a colonoscopy.

I was just wondering if anyone had my symptoms & were comfortable sharing the condition they were diagnosed with? I know the point of the colonoscopy is to determine this but like everyone else here I trying to mentally prepare myself for all outcomes. 

I have had long, narrow stools for a few months. Rectal bleeding of bright red blood since 10th August & some stools have a darker blood present. Extreme fatigue.

Ferritin results borderline anaemic. CRP normal. 

Awaiting FIT results but referral made prior to all this last Thursday. 

I am aware 90% of cases are benign but need treatment but I'm trying to keep a balanced mind set.
