I can hear how much you have on your mind at the moment, waiting for your biopsy on Monday whilst also noticing changes in the lymph nodes and coping with these night sweats. It is completely understandable to feel torn about whether to still go ahead with the appointment now that the nodes seem to have reduced in size, but this really isn't something you need to work out on your own or decide by yourself.

Please don't worry about wasting anyone's time. Your team booked this biopsy for a good reason and they are best placed to advise you on whether it still needs to go ahead, so do give the department a call before Monday if you can, just to let them know what you've noticed and to ask their advice on this.

The same goes for the night sweats. It's understandable to wonder whether this is linked to perimenopause, but rather than trying to work out the cause yourself, it's worth mentioning this to your team too, alongside everything else, so they have the full picture when they see you.
