I have a swollen lymph node behind my ear which was picked up on my 6 month check post wide incision for a malignant melanoma stage 1.  I am booked in for a biopsy on the node on Monday but it does seem to have gotten a little smaller since the biopsy was arranged.  Should I cancel the appointment or still go?  There was another lymph which was also raised at the time of the check but this has now also reduced in size.  I get worried about wasting drs time.  I have had some night sweats, like drenching sweats but I am perimenopausal so it could be that.  Any advice?
