Waiting for five months for results!

Hello.

I had a minor op on my arm for suspected melanoma, five months ago. I still haven't heard anything back about the results. I keep getting told by the Medical Centre in Caerphilly to try my surgery, who then tell me to call the medical centre. 

I wish I could just speak to the doctor at the medical centre who performed the surgery. It is so frustrating and worrying not to know anything after so long

    Hi Rayne8,

    You are definitely being let down by your GP and the Medical Centre. I agree with Ed's advice re writing a letter. I would also write to your GP Practice Manager as your GP should be making enquiries with the Medical Centre on your behalf. With pressure from your GP & your letter, hopefully the Medical Centre will get their act into gear. Good luck & I hope you get a swift response & it brings good news.
