Hi all 

I went to my gp for a mole that is a strange shape / colour . She referred me under two week wait . I saw the derm a week later and she’s referred me for an excision . She didn’t tell me any information and said she wouldn’t like to say . The excision is 3/4 weeks . Cancer wasn’t mentioned but I think she mentioned atypical mole in her write up. My anxiety is through the roof , I was hoping to get it off sooner . Is it normal for derms to not say much ? I am kicking myself as the mole changed colour and I should have gone in sooner. 

Any experiences welcome .
