Please go to the doctors. I had a post menopause bleed after 11 months I have pre cancerous cells. My bleed was bright red and for 5 days. Be brave and come on here or ring the nurses I did. The waiting for results is the worst. Please do not be alone. We are all here for you xxxx

I am still away on holiday , back home tomorrow . Has been a lovely week on holiday . Very rural , pottering about . My best friend also stayed for 4 nights , so lovely catching up with her .

Hope you are doing ok Maebelle . Do you have a date set for your house move ?

I am still waiting on my biopsy results . I did phone my GP earlier today to get an appointment and they confirmed they haven’t received any results from the hospital . I am still in my 3rd of 4 week wait . 

Dollysocks , the Kielder forest area is very remote and has lots of camping sites and outside activities . I stayed in a holiday cottage . It is a dark sky area ( but too cloudy when I was there ) so can see amazing skies . There is also an observatory , but do need to book up in advance and tickets aren’t cheap at almost £50 . I didn’t manage to go when I was there . 

Have only been to Whitley Bay for the day . It had a nice beach and cafes for lunch etc . Other lovely beaches areas are Beadnell , Bamburgh and Alnwick for the beautiful gardens and the castle where some  of the Harry Potter film scenes were shot. I think if you are only there for a few days you may have to choose between beach / countryside .

I’m so pleased that you’ve both managed to have a well deserved break - Norfolk is beautiful and I find the countryside so healing.  Your recovery Dollysocks has been so impressive and not due to luck - you have shown great strength to get through this.

Any news re your biopsy results Cat-Cat - I’m thinking you’re nearly at the 4 week mark?

My offer was accepted, which is brilliant.  This will be a massive move for me - from Cornwall to Yorkshire on my own but I think it’s the right thing for me.  Although I’m a tad apprehensive! xx

Maebelle , that will be an exciting move for you . I holidayed in Yorkshire once as a child  and it is somewhere that looks very scenic .

I don’t think the GP will be able to chase for me , the first appointment I could get with the GP is a month away . I think I will go crazy if I have to wait until then . I will be sent the results from the hospital  via second class post and I still have another week to go until then 4 weeks are up .

I am however optimistic following my scan on 6 July as they didn’t see anything concerning and  even if there was( worse case scenario )  I would hope it would be slow growing , so able to treat .I know also the odds are in my favour too . 

I’m so pleased Cat-Cat - that sounds really positive.

Oh Cat cat its being dragged out nothing you can do its the horrible waiting game. Im ok, chilling. Ive booked to go to Portugal travel insurance gone up for me, but again grateful to be able to go. Let me know when you hear anything please. Im thinking of you. X

Good news for me - still waiting on letter . But  clinic secretary at the hospital was able to tell me that my biopsy results are reassuring and I will be discharged back to my GP !

What a relief . Happy to continue chatting with you both as has been lovely having you both along for this health journey for us all . 

Could perhaps post an email address , then delete the message and set up a WhatsApp group from there ?

Oh my goodness this is such fantastic news - whoop,whoop!  What a relief for you.  I’m so sorry to read that you are going through a family bereavement - to be dealing with that and waiting on results must have been horrendous for you.
