I'm sorry to hear that you may have to wait another 10 - 12 weeks to be seen at the gynaecology department, despite being red flagged. This must be incredibly frustrating so it's completely understandable, and natural, to be feeling all over the place at the moment.

Sadly, lots of our members have had to deal with the stress and anxiety these long waits for appointments can bring too, so you are not alone Kelmarie, and hopefully it won't be long until some of them stop by to offer their support and advice.

If it would help to talk things through with one of our cancer nurses, you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all they can to address your concerns.

In the meantime, we're sending you all our support and I hope this guide we have on how to cope with waiting for news will help you through this challenging time.
