Hi all, just an update. Went today to the cancer clinic. Ultrasound done, found a 2.8cm mass and suspicious lymph node, 3 biopsies taken and a marked out in. Then in for a mammogram. The consultant brought me after with a cancer nurse, explained something about T2 1N and reports she is 90% sure this is cancer. She also said I will need surgery and chemo given what she is seeing. She’s booked me in for an appointment a week on Wednesday to discuss next steps and what the biopsy shows…. I don’t know how to feel to be honest. But if you have an uncertainty please go get checked out! 

Hi Sophbrx I had the same symptoms thickening in the left breast and like a dimple.  It did turn out to be lobular breast cancer.  I had lumpectomy, chemo and radiotherapy.  They also sort of gave me the heads up when I had my biopsy so I was expecting it when I went to see the surgeon.  I also felt a bit numb but when I found out my treatment plan I just wanted to get going.  I would just say take someone with you when you go next Wednesday.  Good luck.

Hi Sophbrx.  I felt a bit numb when I was diagnosed with cancer, it was strange, maybe our body's way of dealing with it.  I felt better when I had the answers and knew the treatment plan too.  I just wanted to get on with it.  Good luck, is it this Wednesday?
