Hi I'm 55 not had a period for 11 months then few weeks ago had light discharge then Sunday my period appeared  for 6 days ..I saw my GP who asked me questions including if I have family history of cancer which I did lose my sister at 54 if breast cancer and my mum who recovers.Ive never had a smear frightens me so much explained my concern and GP has sent for urgent referral to gynaecological and to be put out to have tests done..Is this a concern
