Hi all, 

I found a tiny lump in my breat around 6 weeks ago. It was post ovulation so I waited until after my period as my breasts really change during my periods and I know that I have cysts. Following my period it was still there but I put off going to the GP. 

I saw the GP 8 days ago as my boob was very swollen. Clearly a different size to my other one and feeling solid. The GP referred me straight away to the breast clinic for a 2ww appointment. I have an appointment but not until April 21st as they have a 6 week back log. 

I have had days of my breast itching and some sharp stabbing pain. Today it has been really itchy and now its is painful, like a burning/stabbing feeling where the lump is. 

It's really quite uncomfortable but I don't know what else I can do. I havevakready asked to be put on the cancellation list. 

Obviously I am driving myself crazy worrying that this is cancer and things could be getting worse while I'm waiting. Just looking for any advice or someone else to chat to who understands the anxiety.
