I had a diagnosis of fibroadenoma in my right breast 2018 and a biopsy of another behind my left nipple in 2021. Both were okay. Skip to late 2025 and my health anxiety is huge as ive had a paternal aunt and grandmother both die of cancers after staying clear for 5+ years. I found bilateral lymphnodes that slip when I touch them but are firm. As well as that I cant really feel my fibroadenoma anymore. So I went to the doctor who said she could feel thickening over the fibroadenoma on the right and would refer me because they have to, because of history and some changes.
I looked on the patient access app and my letter said referral for suspected breast cancer?! Do they have to do this to get me referred? Because seeing that paralysed me.
I also found a hard lump under my jaw floating under my chin, im also getting weird symptoms like motion sickness so that's being ultrasounded at the end of this month. So im having lots of anxieties about my health and seeing suspected cancer in letters just made it 10x worse.
