Hello there. I am new here 53 year old mum of two beautiful adult children.... Back in December I noticed a slight Inversion in my nipple. I checked my breast and couldn't feel anything. Roll on the beginning of Feb and my nipple was still partially inverted and this time my breast had changed shape and yes there was now a lump. Fast forward doctor send me to breast clinic where they sent Mr for a mammogram and then a more details mammogram and then during the ultrasound they said they were going to perform a biopsy. Just before they did this I asked the doctor was this just precautionary and he put his hand on my arm and told me we would talk after. After the biopsy and the the clip was put in I went for another mammogram and then was shown into a small room..the doctor and a nurse came in he said your lump is suspicious do you understand what I am saying..I just remembered nodding..I was in agony from the biopsy and I was still shaking from the pain. I didn't ask any questions which of course now I could kick myself for so my question is does the doctor always do this after they perform a biopsy. I know it seems like a stupid question but I am so confused. By telling me it is suspicious is it warning me. My appointment is on the 9th March for my results.
