Informed at GP appt i was being referred on 24 Nov 2ww rule after positive FIT. Found out yesterday from hospital the GP surgery failed to submit referral. They only referred me on 9th Dec the day I chased them for update
Oh no that's awful this happened to you and it definitely should not have happened! Well done for chasing them for an update or it might have taken a long time to realise that the referral had not been made. I think your story just shows how important it is to speak up when we suspect something is missing or a mistake has been made.
At least it's been done now and hopefully you won't have to wait too long now to be seen.
