Hi Ghay,  I think it is different at all hospitals.  It doesn't necessarily mean it is bad news.  I was told over the phone I had cancer which was horrible.  I would take someone with you tomorrow, don't go on your own.  Whatever they say it is hard to remember when you are on your own.   So good luck tomorrow.  Please let us know how you get on x

im sorry you got told over the phone that is awful . They did say to bring someone with me tomorrow, so I am going in expecting the worst tbh. I’ve just turned 30, I went in expecting them to say it’s nothing then I heard the words biopsy and my heart sank .

Best practice is to give these sort of results face to face, regardless of whether the news is good or bad. 
Even when the news is good, we always have lots of questions, especially “are you sure?”
