Hi I’m a 29 year old woman and I’ve found a lump in my left breast I went to my gp who have referred me urgently to the breast clinic I have a appointment for a ultrasound and possibly a biopsy for 3 weeks time. I’m worried, mainly because I’ve had the symptoms and lump for two months and I have more symptoms than just the lump, I’ve also had some soreness around my nipple, tender to touch on the lump, pain on and off like very sharp shooting pain, and rib pain(all on the left side where the lump was found) I’m freaking out it’s breast cancer, with all my symptoms I can’t find another diagnosis that fits, my family keep saying it’s most likely a cyst but that wouldn’t cause rib pain to. Anyone going through similar or been through similar that can offer me any advice or share your story id appreciate it because at the moment I feel alone but also feel like a fraud posting and worrying about this as I’m only waiting for tests haven’t been diagnosed with anything.
