I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some concerns about your breast health. It's good to know that you've already seen your GP and that they have referred you for some initial investigations. 

We know that for many people, this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult. It may help to try and keep in mind that the majority of people seen by a breast specialist are not diagnosed with cancer. There could be other reasons for the symptoms you've noticed but hopefully the team will be able to give you some reassurance when you see them at your first appointment. 

In the meantime, if it would help to talk things through with one of our nurses, you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.
