Hi All,

About 2 months ago I suddenly noticed quite a large lump at the bottom of one of my butt cheeks, with another lump at the top of the main one. I exercise a lot and thought it might be bursitis or something so inject it a while! After see in the GP she’s referred me for an ultrasound, where they said they couldn’t decide exactly what it was (although I’m paranoid they do know and just wouldn’t tell me). I’m now booked for an MRI but every new wait is another 2 weeks!

 3 years ago I had a mis-diagnosis of incurable cancer, a stomach tumour which they told me had spread. This all turned out to be totally benign but was horribly traumatising! 

I’m now absolutely terrified and am struggling to cope approaching these investigations!! I have 2 children, one in her GCSE year and one just started secondary school and I’m worried I won’t be there for them!! 

I Don’t really know if I have any questions or what the point of this post is, but wanted to get it down!
