Ca125 so worried

I had raised CA125 of 61 and sent for a scan which just showed fibroids. They repeated my bloods just 6 weeks later and its jumped to 138. If it was just fibroids would it still be rising. Worried somethings been missed and its more sinister as I know cancer in other places can cause CA125 to rise. Petrified mum of 2 littles.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with some health concerns at the moment. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious. 

    Fibroids can indeed cause a raised CA125 result and it's good to hear that nothing else was initially discovered during your scan. 

    What has the doctor said regarding your results? Are they planning to refer you to a specialist? Or will they continue to monitor things for you and make a referral if your symptoms don't settle?

    I'm being referred again. I was so relieved when the fibroids were found as that explained the high reading but very concerned that they are still rising as thought it would just stay around the same. Surely it wouldn't rise that quickly if it was just fibroids. Scared out my wits right now
