Worried I have cancer - I've noticed blood when I wipe after I go to the toilet

I have noticed bright red blood when I wipe

When i have been to the toilet.  I have tried to

Put it out of my mind but it has happened a few times now.  I am too frightened to go to the doctors incase its cancer

    1. Bright red blood following bowel movement has many different causes.. constipation can cause a slight tear round the sphincter as do hemorrhoids. Keeping well hydrated will reduce any strain to pass motion. As for having a male Dr.. is there a female or ANP at the practice you could see.. don't let embarrassment stop you getting advice and care
