Hi all
after suffering abdominal bloating and increasing pelvic pain over about 4 weeks, I saw the Dr., had blood tests and an ultrasound. The latter is being repeated as my bladder wasn’t full enough (it was a very hot day ). I have been worried by the fact that this time they have asked me to fast (and be sure to drink enough water of course) and pressed me to have a TVS which I physically can’t due to a congenital abnormality. I assume this means they think they have (on review) seen something which the initial report which was normal in so far as it went, didn’t spot. It gets worse though. In reviewing and comparing the recent report to one last year, I noticed my uterus has increased in size by dimensions of approx 9x3x4 yet I am a good 12 years post menopause. Surely this is a red flag?
i wondered if anyone else has hd experience of having to fast for an abdo/pelvic ultrasound and the context for this and also if anyone has experienced an increase in uterus size post menopause and what it was diagnosed as being due to.
i have previously had bladder cancer albeit early stage, low grade so I am a bit of a worry-guts.
best wishes to all here.
