Hi
I had a biopsy done 10 days ago - after being rushed in for Endoscopy. They found a few “Nodular Mucosa” with some abnormalities in stomach and duodenum consistent with Gastritis (H pylori is negative)
I’ve had stomach issues for a while, put it down to bad diet, smoking, alcohol and working a mixture of days and nights for so long. Over the last couple of years I’ve been belching a lot, suffering pain, feeling swollen (just thought that’s where I can be a pig and eat to much)
Now it’s a regular, what got me scared was I awoke at 2am with severe pain in abdomen and top of back, genuinely thought I was having a AAA.
Went to GP and they sent me for endoscopy.
I’m not going to lie I am a little scared for results and really haven’t been right since I awoke at 2am, which is coming on 3 weeks now.
In the last few years I noticed I’m not able to eat too much spice, fizzy, certain alcohol and certain medication’s.
But I am thinking if biopsy was cancerous, would it take longer than 10 days to come back? I kinda look at it like “No news is good news” right?
I am a 42 year old female - has anyone been in this position before?
