Tiny hard lump in breast, not moving

Hi, I'm hoping someone who has had a similar experience might see this and offer some reassurance.

I'm 32 years old and last night I found a tiny (smaller than a pea), hard lump in my right breast, to the right of my nipple. It feels like it's deep inside and I don't think it moves when I try to.

I've got an appointment with an emergency NP today at my surgery but I know she probably won't be able to say what it is and I'll need to wait for another appointment.

I'm just really nervous, I've got an 11 month old baby and I'm terrified of the worst. I can't stop worrying and I don't feel like I can tell anyone as I don't want anyone else to worry.

  • Ive recently found a lump and have been referred to be seen on the two weeks emergency pathway. It is just procedure with my GP for any lump. I hope your appointment gave you some reassurance and that you are feeling ok. I understand how worried you are I'm completely terrified myself. Keep strong.

  • Yeah I'm also on the 2 week referral and waiting to hear when my appt is. I think it was also standard procedure, she said she would refer me before she'd even felt it but she didn't seem to know what it could be, unless they just can't say.

Wishing you the best - praying we're both worrying over nothing. Let me know how you get on xx
