Nodes were found by contrast CT scan a week ago. I was pencilled in for CT guided lung biopsy for next Tuesday but unfortunately there were too many others ahead of me needing the same thing. I am booked in for 6th May. I feel majorly anxious about this wait. I contacted a couple of private providers already but am underwhelmed by the speed of their response. I’m guessing that by the time arrangements are in place it might not be any sooner than 6th May plus the week or so wait for results. Has anyone been in a similar situation- is going to other NHS hospitals an option?
