I had a dent in my left breast. I just looked at it in the mirror when I was having a wash. I was thinking initially 'this is an age thing', I was 56. After several months I started thinking, ' if it's age related, why is it only on one side?' Several weeks later I was driving home from work with the car radio on. A notification came on saying something about checking your breasts regularly and that it's not only feeling a lump that could indicate something amiss. One of the other things mentioned was a dent. After that I knew I should go to the GP. and was very scared. All that happened 13 years ago. Today I am a healthy grandmother of a wonderful 4 year old boy.
