Worried I have mouth cancer

Hi I am.so scared I may have cancer of my mouth. I don't have any tonsils bur still.get pain. However I have had a white patch on the back of where my left.tonsil would be. I have earache and a swollen lymph node. I am on antibiotics which have made no difference ??? Yes I am a smoker however I have not.touched one since Wednesday when I began the antibiotics.... I am back at doctors on Wed.

    Hi I know you’re worried but just want to tell you my daughter had her tonsils removed and still gets white patches and tonsillitis her doctor said it’s not unusual to have tonsil tissue grow back. She has lymph node swelling and it usually takes at least two rounds of antibiotics before it starts to clear up. Try not to worry xx
