Hi everyone, looking for some advice as I'm driving myself crazy. I have a slipped disc which I've been having regular MRI scans on. On a recent MRI I was told there was something seen on there which could be a possible bladder prolapse, however I have no symptoms of this. When I got to my scan appointment I was told that something was seen on my kidney and that is what's being looked at.
I had the contrast dye, they said they'd scan and then put the dye in and wait 10 minutes. However they then said there was no need to wait the 10 minutes and let me go after scanning straight away.
I've not heard anything for the last 5 days and I don't know where I stand or what they're even looking for. Doctor Google suggests they could be looking for cancer, but surely I'd have heard something by now? I can't get through to the hospital to find out who referred me or who I'm waiting to hear from and when I do get through to someone I'm being fobbed off.
Does this sound like they're looking for cancer and something may have been found?
