No, I'm eating the normal amount of food, I'd say even more than usual. 

Does your GP know this ,has he arranged any more tests or treatments for you yet ???

Emergency colonoscopy in two weeks. 

That's good ,you need answers and you'll get answers from that ,try not to google all of your questions ,I know most people do but really speaking its outdated and will not help you ,far better asking people on here who have experienced what you are going through .

From a emergency colonoscopy to now on the 24th January, telephone triage??? I've told them I have pain, losing weight, and they want to give ma a telephone triage? Seriously!

So does it sound like you are not now having the Colonoscopy and instead having just a telephone call to find out how urgent you need to be seen ,they obviously don't think its urgent .

I don't know what to think Jenny? This is ridiculous! They are the ones who called me to alert me that I have blood in my stool. I told the doctor I'm in pain, losing weight. When I eat I feel slight pain in the right side of my stomach near the middle of my stomach. Plus I get a burning sensation just under where my right ribs are. I can't believe I have to have a telephone consultation. Why can't they call me in. I'm scared I'm going to get sicker now!

I had a telephone call before my first Colonoscopy and that's when they gave me a date for the Colonoscopy so that's probably what they will do with you ,but it does seem like a long time to wait before you even get an appointment ,if you're in pain maybe ask your GP if they can help get you a sooner appointment .

How soon after your telephone consultation did you get your colonoscopy can I ask?
