I see that your results came back today. I am so sorry to hear that it is cancer. Did they say what type of breast cancer it is? Try to hold on to the fact that you have caught this early when it is treatable. Your emotions will be a mess for a while, but you will get there.

Being trying to get my head around things, been a

bit of an ostrich for the last couple of weeks. Gave my head a wobble now ready to get rid of this awful disease, pre op a week on Monday and lumpectomy in 3 to 4 weeks so will be a quite christmas this year, my children have been amazing we lost their dad a few years ago suddenly so they only have me.

I'm glad to hear that you are moving towards your pre-op and lumpectomy. I am so sorry to hear that you lost your partner and are facing this on your own. Sometimes, our children can amaze us, when facing such challenges and I'm glad to hear that they are stepping up to the mark.

I found the incentive of being here for my children, a strong motivator in getting on with treatment too. I won't pretend that it's all been plain sailing, but you will get there.
