I am sorry to hear about your positive FIT test and I can imagine this has made you worried. As you can see in our information page on the FIT test, "traces of blood in your poo can be caused by other medical conditions and doesn’t necessarily mean you have cancer" but it's important to carry out the necessary investigations to rule it out. You might be interested in reading one of our nurses' responses to another member, Sonnie who posted this 'FIT test' thread as they were also worried about their positive result. You are not alone and there are many members of our community who have had a positive FIT test before and I hope they will be along shortly to tell you more about what it all turned out to be for them. 

It is normal that having been through triple negative breast cancer recently, this has scared you a bit but try not to anticipate what it might be and I am keeping everything crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing of concern.
