Post breast biopsy callback

Hey everyone. 

I had a breast biopsy last week. The clinic just called, following MDT meeting, and have said that it looks benign but would like me to come back in for more checks. 

Whilst I hugely appreciate the reassurance: is this standard procedure? Or might it be because they were struggling to get the sample and want to repeat?

Interested in any views / experience!!

    Whilst a little bit rattling for yourself, a belts and braces approach is never a bad thing. They probably just want to make doubly sure they have done this thoroughly before sending you on your way. Some people get brushed off, something is missed, and get let down, but it sounds like you have an excellent team of doctors looking out for you.
